Omolawo (one hand of Ifá) Some initiates choose to do Ifa initiation in two stages. When this is done the first stage is called Omolawo. Initiates into Omolawo have a responsibility to begin the process of learning the skills associated with full Ifa initiation. Omolawo has permission to do divination for him or herself and to assist Ifa initiates in divination, making offerings and leading public ritual.
